“Ultimate CNG has invested in a range of Methane Capture equipment that mitigate the environmentally harmful release of natural gas to the atmosphere when pipelines are blown down. There are two methods used to capture methane in a pipeline setting: One option is to transfer gas via a mobile compressor from the pipeline to be evacuated into an immediately adjacent section of pipe that is still in service. This option is known as “Cross Compression” or “Pump Down”. The second option is to transfer gas from the pipeline to be evacuated into a CNG tanker using a mobile compressor, transporting the CNG tanker and injecting the gas into an active pipeline. Ultimate CNG utilizes a complete suite of equipment to deliver both Methane Capture options. In this way, Ultimate CNG tailors a commercial solution to the customer’s exact requirements, protecting the environment and retaining valuable natural gas for use elsewhere”.

Accordingly, UCNG utilize the following equipment :

  • Fuel Mule: Ariel JGQ2, three stage mobile compressor with a capacity of 38,000 SCF per hour and onboard storage tanks with a capacity of 8,500 SCF at 3,600 psi.
